A couple of weeks ago I was asked to shoot Anne Willan http://www.lavarenne.com/about.htm for Westside Magazine. So the editor Christy Hobart and I went over to her house one chilly Saturday morning for photos and an interview. It ended up being three woman sitting around drinking coffee, eating financiers and talking about food, Paris, her cooki
ng school in France and who has the best Croissant in LA. Anne was welcoming, warm and generous with her information. I did find time in all of our story sharing to
take some photos and was even given a tour of her extensive antique cookbook collection with some books dating back to the 1600's. Oh and a truly authentic French croissant in LA comes from local chef Alain Giraud.
